AwardBIOS 1.xx is a family of very early versions of AwardBIOS released in around 1984. As of October 2024, there are no known ROM dumps or pictures of the POST/setup screens for any of these versions. However, the existence of these versions has been confirmed by a file in a BIOS ROM database.
Setup Utility
Although very little information is available for AwardBIOS 1.xx, it most likely did not have a built-in setup utility (which was introduced with some of the later instances of AwardBIOS 2.xx). However, it is possible that very late versions and code forks may have one, assuming they exist.
Known versions
Version 1.05
Reportedly used on an unknown ComputerLand model and another unknown AT-compatible computer.
Version 1.10
Reportedly used on the Acer 1100, some revisions may have AwardBIOS 2.xx instead.
