AwardBIOS 1.xx is a family of very early versions of AwardBIOS, first released in around 1984. As of January 2024, no known ROM dumps or pictures are available for any of these versions. However, the existence of the versions have been confirmed by a database file in a BIOS detection program.

Setup Utility

Although barely any information is available online for AwardBIOS 1.xx, it most likely lacked a built-in setup utility (which was first introduced with some later instances of AwardBIOS 2.xx). However, its possible very late versions and code forks (assuming they have existed) might have included one.

Known versions

Version 1.05

Supposedly used on an unknown model ComputerLand and another unknown AT compatible computer.

Version 1.10

Supposedly used on the Acer 1100, some revisions might have AwardBIOS 2.xx instead.

Version 1.12

Supposedly used on the Basic Time BT/AT personal computer.
